I LOVE these cards. They’re so easy to work into structured tasks or just pull out in a pinch during play-based therapy. My only critique is I wish there were more! I will be using these forever!!

Love love love the speech sound cues for targets that involve CV or VC! They are so intuitive and children love these. I use them alongside the mini’s and the therapy becomes more of interactive and fun for the children.

I use it almost daily with my preschoolers for Go Fish. Also is great for matching. Love love love the dogs. I actually got a damaged version. I can’t really tell what’s wrong with it and it was half price so even better.

I framed it because I love using the speech sound cues in ST. I wanted to keep it nice. I comes with a cleanable surface but I work with clients that can get excited and get a little rough with things. I am hoping this will preserve it for a bit. Plexiglass keeps it kid friendly.

I’m an SLP, who specializes in dyslexia, literacy, and early reading assessment and intervention. I love using Links and Ladders with my kids who need lots of practice with the 1:1 sound-symbol spelling changes. These are my kids that struggle more with spelling and/or are on the younger end of my caseload. - I get creative with these giant Elkonin boxes I made out of construction paper, a magnetic board, and fun magnets! - I’ve also used paper and two erasable colored pencils (or a whiteboard and two whiteboard markers) to provide a visual of which letter is changing. - I often pair Links and Ladders with the Better Letters cards to provide BIG visuals for my caseload members that need lots of scaffolding at first or find success through images! - I sometimes tell the child to change the word into another word (encoding practice) or sometimes I tell the child to change one sound in the word, so they end up having to read the new word (decoding practice). - I’m a HUGE fan that there’s lots of different sets and I can easily keep track of which set I’m on with every kid. - It’s helped me to know that each set is TEN words. Some of my kids need to know that the light is at the end of the tunnel with orthographic mapping/spelling activities. I hesitated to buy this at first because it’s pricey, but I am definitely seeing progress that connects sounds we hear to the words we see and read! That is all I could want, as an SLP!! The cute pictures, zero prep, and quality of the product are bonuses! **I’m excited for possible future Links and Ladders sets: CVCe, CCVC/CVCC, Vowel teams, Consonant -le, R-controlled, etc**

I love the Links and Ladders set! The visuals are so fun and engaging! There are so many ways to use the cards and it's been fun experimenting with my own three year old as well as my students. My daughter gets lots of practice with specific letters and has already become more automatic in certain letters! I can't wait to continue to use these cards with her and my students!

Absolutely LOVE this product! I have quite a few lateral and interdental lisp kiddos on my caseload and they've all responded well to re-framing to "tick-tock" to "flat tire" sound cues. This deck is the perfect way to practice integrating the "flat tire" sound. I appreciate how the visual cue is included on each card throughout the deck. Whether we are playing Go-fish, Matching, etc. Students recognize the "flat tire!"
