From Stuck to Speaking is a practical teaching guide designed to help speech-language pathologists, educators, and families learn more about consonant sounds using the Bjorem Speech Sound Cues®. The book explains how speech sounds are made by breaking them down into place, manner, and voicing, and then connects each sound to a child-friendly visual cue, hand motion, and simple explanation to make learning easier and more engaging. Each sound page provides a cue-tip for how to produce the sound, a visual association (such as the “popcorn sound” for /p/), and example words to support practice. The guide encourages playful, multisensory learning through modeling, movement, and everyday activities so children can build strong connections between sounds, mouth movements, and letters as they develop speech, reading, and spelling skills.
