I work with school-age students, and these miniature speech sound cues are a great combination of novel fun to the iconic speech sound cue flashcards. It is so easy to embed them as manipulatives, as a way to peek/hide-and-seek, and as a quick quiz to match sounds to cues.

When you say "minis" you mean "minis" they are a little too small for me. I do like the "toys" and so do the children!

The children can quickly remember which sound matches each object. I used it for "s blends" and the mini objects really helped my student to understand and say what sound comes next after the "snake" sound. The objects are a big hit with my kids- my only trouble is making sure I don't lose any as they are so small!
I just purchased these minis about a month ago and have found a way to use them with almost every one of my clients, targeting many different goals. I work with 2 years of age - elementary age, and all of the children have responded beautifully to these. The minis are engaging and effective and such a good addition to my tool kit.

I do small preliteracy groups and the Minis are their favorite! They love to use them to build CVC structures. I always let them have some open play with the Minis at the end of group and it makes them so happy.
