Dr. Stefanie Martelle, SLPD, developed Teaching Idioms in Context as part of her doctoral work at Kean University, inspired by her clinical experience supporting neurodivergent learners. This visual, story-based tool helps children—and adults—grasp idiomatic expressions through context, illustration, and structured support. Now available through Bjorem Speech®, the resource reflects Stefanie’s commitment to evidence-based, inclusive therapy. In addition to her work as a speech-language pathologist in the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District, Stefanie continues to create materials that support diverse communication needs.
