Hi, I’m Jen Bjorem, and I’m so glad you’re here.
When I first started, it was just my family and me, shipping speech sound cue cards out of our kitchen pantry. I had a simple goal: to share the tools I’d been using in therapy for years, hoping they could help others too.
From stickers on sticks to building a passionate team, every step of this journey has been humbling and full of growth. What keeps me going is this incredible community of SLPs, educators, and families who believe in what we do. Your stories, your breakthroughs, and your heart are what drive us. Together, we’re making a difference, one child, one session, and one product at a time.

What started with stickers on sticks has grown into a global brand, driven by heart, research, and a mission to make every child feel seen, heard, and supported.
From Stickers on Sticks to a Global Brand
Sometimes the best ideas start simply.
For us, it began with stickers of clip art on sticks and a leap of faith that other speech pathologists might need this tool too.
Fresh out of undergrad, illustrator Ruthie Ozonoff brought the vision to life, creating the art that would become the beloved Bjorem Speech Sound Cues.
It shows that impactful ideas don’t need fancy beginnings, just passion, creativity, and the courage to share them.
Proof That Passion Scales
We started in 2017 with a big dream and a small pantry.
Now, in 2025, Bjorem Speech & Literacy has proudly fulfilled over 225,000 orders and offers more than 80 unique SKUs.
What began as a passion project has grown into a trusted brand for speech-language pathologists, educators, and families worldwide.
In just under a decade, we’ve reached hundreds of thousands of customers, proof that when you combine heart, research, and purpose, the impact is real and lasting.
From Pantry to Warehouse
Today, Bjorem Speech & Literacy operates out of a 5,000-square-foot warehouse in beautiful Colorado.
With a dedicated team of nine and more than 20 collaborators, creators, and authors, we’ve built a thriving hub where ideas turn into products that support professionals and families.
We proudly ship all of our own products, run a fully stocked Amazon store, and partner with international resellers in five countries, extending our reach across the globe.

Founded by Jennie Bjorem, M.A., CCC-SLP, our mission is to empower speech-language pathologists, literacy teachers, and parents with research-based, easy-to-use resources that bring confidence and clarity to children’s communication and learning.

What started with a single set of speech sound cues has grown into a full line of products supporting speech, language, and literacy around the world. Our team is passionate about designing materials that are inclusive, engaging, and practical for every age, whether in therapy rooms, classrooms, or at home.

Bjorem Speech is more than a publishing company. We are a community of educators and families working together to help children find their voice, build literacy skills, and thrive.
Our Impact
With over 80 unique products and a growing network of wholesalers in Ireland, Australia, Canada, Chile, and beyond, Bjorem Speech continues to expand its global reach. Through our nonprofit partnership, the Bjorem & Bolles Apraxia Education Initiative, we are training speech-language pathologists worldwide to confidently assess and treat childhood apraxia of speech. Every tool, training, and connection we create is designed to make a lasting difference for children and families everywhere.
