We’ve updated the visuals so they no longer include the letter “R” in the cue pictures. Why? Because sometimes, the label “R” gets in the way of learning the movement.
By removing the letter and focusing on the sound, these cues support cognitive reframing and give students the freedom to think about what they’re feeling and doing- not just what they see or what they've been told the sound "should" be.
